Green Tomato Pickles

  • 2kg Tomatoes Green   
  • 1kg Onions   
  • 750ml Vinegar  
  • 1kg Brown Sugar 
  • 2 tablespoons Mustard   
  • 1 tablespoon Curry  
  • 1 dessertspoon Turmeric
  • 1/2 cup Plain Flour     
  • 1/4 cup Salt





1. Cut tomato and onion.


 









2. Cover with warm water and salt.


                                                   


3.  Leave overnight.  Next morning cook 1/2 hour then strain.

4. Then Add sugar and vinegar and cook again   then thicken with the remaining ingredients.  


5.  Put into warm jars and seal.
