Oriental Fried Noodle Salad

Chinese Cabbage  (wombok) shredded
 Green Onions being chopped
 Almonds being toasted in a saucepan
Salad ready to eat


½ - 1 Chinese cabbage (wombok) or Savoy Cabbage, shredded finely
6 green onions, chopped into 5mm lengths
100g lightly roasted slivered almonds or pinenuts
100g fried noodles

½ cup no oil French dressing
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1/3 cup brown sugar
In a small container with a lid place in all the ingredients for the dressing and shake well
On a griller tray covered with a sheet of alfoil, toast almonds until browned (or in a saucepan).  Toss the cabbage, chopped green onions and almonds in a salad bowl.  Add dressing and mix well. Just before severing add the noodles and toss thoroughly.
