Sticky Date Pudding

Beat butter and sugar and then add eggs

Boil dates in water then add soda and vanilla

Fold flour into the butter and egg mixture then fold in date mixture

Then grease a dish and add mixture and cook in oven
Place all the ingredients for sauce mixture in a saucepan and boil slowly

Ready to eat

Sticky Date Pudding
60g unsalted butter
2/3 cup caster sugar
2 eggs
1 cup dates
1 1/3 cupwater
3/4 teaspoon bicarbonate soda
2/3 cup self raising flour

Beat butter, sugar then add eggs.  Boil dates in water, add soda & vanilla, Fold in flour then dates, spoon into lamington tin.  Bake at 160 for 30-35 minutes.

1 cup cream, 
125g butter,  
1 cup brown sugar,
Place all in saucepan boil for 30 minutes.

After pudding is cooked pour sauce over top and serve.
